March 6, 7 and 8 saw nearly 30 AICC members gather at Stratton Mountain, Vermont for the 11th Annual AICC East Coast Ski Weekend.
Truly one of AICC’s most family oriented events, some of the children of AICC members have grown up “together” at the ski weekend and it serves as an impromptu reunion of sorts. Stratton Mountain’s 84 trails had a solid base of snow and the weekend brought sunny but cold conditions that added up to some great ski opportunities. AICC always makes sure that there is enough cheer to go along with the skiing. Friday night had an opening cocktails and dinner gathering. There was a lunch on Saturday so the skiers could “reload” after expending all that energy on the slopes before heading out for more. Finally, there was a Saturday night dinner where stories of the day’s runs were shared and plans were made for the second day of skiing.
