Prior to joining AICC, Mike was involved with packaging printers, converters and suppliers for more than 30 years. He is a past AICC member and ICPF supporter. Mike has a passion for serving the membership with an eye on the future.

Virginia has been with AICC since 2012. She specializes in membership engagement and marketing. Prior to AICC Virginia managed special projects for Exponent Philanthropy, an association for small-staffed foundations.

She holds a Masters of Science in Marketing from Johns Hopkins University.

Pets: Otis, a black lab mix who is as smart as soup and Casey, a collie-chow mix too smart for her own good

Fun Fact: I ate rat while in the Peace Corps. And I liked it.

Chelsea joined AICC in August 2014. Prior to AICC, she worked in music talent development in NYC and received her Masters degree in Communications at AU.

Fun Fact: Chelsea once competed in an amateur skateboarding competition.

Prior to AICC, Patrick worked within the hospitality industry as well as the tech sector. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech.

Fun Fact: I love to travel. I have visited 2 of the 7 (man-made) wonders of the world- the Roman Colosseum and Chichen Itza..

Taryn‘s career spans 25 years in Association Leadership. Her career at AICC began in 2001. She divides her time between building education programs through AICC’s Packaging University and creating AICC’s magazine BOXSCORE. Her spare time finds her as an aunt, daughter, sister, niece, photographer, and volunteer for the Italian Greyhound and Virginia Bluebird Societies.

Alyce joined the AICC team in 2017. Prior to the packaging industry, she worked in the tech & real estate industry.

Ralph has been associated with the AICC for 35 years, serving as our Technical Advisor for the last 12 years. He is globally known primarily as an expert in containerboard and corrugated packaging. For the Association, he is the author of ASKRalph blog, BoxScore articles, contributions to inBox, with participation in webinars and domestic and international meetings. Ralph has also created four product development assignments for AICC.

ASK RALPH

Tom has 39 years of paperboard packaging experience. He is recognized by industry peers to be knowledgeable and well informed in all sales, marketing, and production processes, various types of paperboard and plastic converting equipment, and technically proficient in Leadership Training and Six Sigma/LEAN methodologies. He has managed multiple facilities in operations, run a regional business as General Manager, and successfully directed a privately held company as its President. His career includes tenures with Tenneco, Caraustar, North America Packaging Corporation, Core Systems LLC, and CardPak.

ASK TOM

Dr. Ellis is a leadership and process improvement specialist who serves on AICC’s faculty to assist in building the Packaging School curriculum. Scott has served as a resource for the development of individuals, teams, and organizations as a consultant, teacher, psychotherapist, coach, and general manager in the packaging industry for two decades. His pragmatic approach is focused on making it easy to do the right things right.
