SMC Packaging Group, Springfield, Mo., celebrated its 50th Anniversary with an open house and luncheon on Wednesday, May 11, for customers, suppliers, and community leaders. More than 200 people attended the event. Kevin Ausburn, Chairman and CEO, welcomed those in attendance and emceed the program which included tributes to former and long-time employees and customers and a proclamation of “SMC Packaging Day” by the Mayor of Springfield, Ken McClure.
